Reviews of The Lough Trail
"It's such a great place when the weather is fine. Birds are friendly, plus the geese are mad as hatters"
"Gorgeous spot just south of the main city centre. Quite a bird refuge! Went on a weekend when the weather wasn’t great so not too many people and could find a parking spot. I would imagine when the weather is nice that parking spaces are hard to come by. Nice clean path to walk around the lake, plenty of benches, a spacious green space for games, a playground, and LOTS of birds!"
"A beautiful walk, lovely for kids and adults. Feed the birds or ducks, bring the dog for a stroll. A lovely little playground area for the kids. Ideal for joggers too with a circumference of approx 1 mile on the outer ring, approx 1 km on the inner ring. A nice green area there too for playing ball, Frisbee or picnicking in the Summer. Definitely worth a visit."
