Reviews of Ballyheigue Beach
"The panoramic views from along this lengthy run of sandy beach are of mountains, dunes, headlands, and a bay opening to the Atlantic. Sunsets are a must. It is beautiful at anytime of the year."
"Lovely clean beach, friendly bars and sure what else do you need"
"Glorious beach. Amazing waves. Super clean. It is so long too, would be a fabulous walk."
"Beautiful beach! Very clean. There’s also a tap so you can clean the sand off. All beaches should have this. Good parking. Plenty of picnic benches and a few takeaways opposite. Play park right beside the beach and there’s an amusement arcade opposite. Very safe area."
"Beautiful long stretch of sandy beach. Lots of space for walking, dog walking, swimming etc. Came when the tide was out and it was full of squawking crows, seagulls, and other sea birds feeding on whatever was in the seaweed. I have to say it was very pungent. But you get used to it."
