"We sat by this beautiful sandy beach and ate delicious take away food from the chip van in Allihies. The surrounding hills looked so peaceful. The sun was setting and a light breeze ruffled the sea grass around the convenient car park. Everything was clean and well kept, even the nearby public facilities. We'll definitely make this a stop again the next time we're doing the Ring of Beara."
"Nice quiet Sandy beach, albeit water is cold and it is windy. Getting there can be quite stressful as it is very narrow in places. Take it easy and enjoy the spectacular views along the way!"
"Great place 4camping it has toilets,showers, washing machine, tumble dryer and a phone charging port. The beach is great but kids that can't swim should be accompanied in the water there is a drop and it gets to deep. There are a few food trucks for coffee and a bit to eat."
