"It was very quiet when we called in for coffee and cake. The cake was dry and most probably there a few days. The toilets were not very clean and when we went to look for someone to tell there was no-one about so we left."
"Nice staff, plenty of space, good pastries (not very cheap)"
"Was there around 9 am on a Monday morning with my young daughter. A handful of other people in the cafe at the time and no one queueing at the till. Barista got our order wrong 2 times - cafe latte instead of chai latte and coconut milk instead of soymilk (they had soy milk). Very hectic vibe and no apologies were given. When we sat down, there was plenty of dirty dishes everywhere, rap music (with swear words) blasting through the coffee shops and toilets were smelling of urine and uncleaned with cleaning supplies scattered around. Definitely not coming back here again and will instead go to the Costa in Little Island which is always lovely."
"This is the usual Costa Coffee layout and franchise format. Saying that however, the staff are very good and pay attention to detail. In particular, one young lady with dark hair (an Irish girl I think), was meticulous with the temperature of the latte , using a thermometer to make it just right. So if you want a well made latte and careful attention to detail with your coffee it is a good place to go. The coffee bean used by Costa is a little run-of-the-mill in terms of amazing coffee flavour, but it's still hard to beat their large latte for a morning wake up."
