"We enjoyed 5-star care and attention by Conor and Brigid, and loved the comfortable, well-appointed rooms and luxury hotel-quality breakfasts, with food sourced locally. Their honey was spectacular. Also, a cozy reading lounge with fireplace was a pleasant surprise, as was the river next to the property and loads of friendly cats. Quiet, beautiful surroundings added to the experience. "Oh my goodness what a fabulous place this is. I stayed for three nights in this hotel and was kindly greeted by Conor when I entered. From the information about the area, directions and maps for tourist activities, outstanding cleanliness of everything, the homely feeling of a communal area in the house which is open all night, the warm fire and study with books, the delicious locally sourced breakfast (most of it is made by themselves including the jam, marmalade and honey and yogurt!),the books, CDs and DVDs to browse, the beautiful decor, to the accommodating kindness of Bridget and Conor and their honest care for your experience not only in the house but in Killarney and Ireland herself, this has been the best accommodation I have ever had, and I have a lot of experience throughout Europe and Canada! Even through the economic crisis at the moment, not one cent has been scrimped or saved regarding luxery and it is still a reasonable and locally appropriate price (quite on the lower side of normal too!) I will definitely be back and recommending it to all of my friends!"
"Lovely Place, totally reconmended! We stayed a few nights at Gleann Fia. The house was beautyful, the garden was like a Fairy tail with a small River right in front. We were impressed by the beauty and the size of or room. All the forniture was sophysticated. Breakfast was Amazing, everything was homemade. The staff was all lovely, helpful and warm. Especially Connor was very sweet, he explained to us the itineraries and gave us tips for Great locations and restaurants. We will definitely go back, there Is so much to see around there!"
