Reviews
"The walls are a bit thin, but fine apart from that."
"We had dinner and it was the best meal we have had in Ireland!"
"I'm not a fussy guest at all, but for the price I was quite surprised. The whole building is old and need renovation. We have no light in the bathroom, one of the socket out of two was broken, no water pressure at all and no hot water either. Our rooms smelled badly even we left all the windows open while we was away. Carpets where dirty. And rooms are very noisy from outside traffic and other rooms/guest. Otherwise the lady at reception was really kind and helpful!"
"Slept here one night to hike the Carrauntoohil next morning. The location was good in particular for this purpose as it was pretty close to the trailhead by car. The room was very spartan and not very clean. The walls were very thin as I could hear everything happening in the next room and unfortunately there was a family with kids that were making a lot of noise there until very late. I would say that this is a good place to stay for families that are not looking to stay in the city centre or for a quick night stay before a hike, but bring some ear plugs."
"Freda was great- called the morning of and asked for a room- think she gave me a discount - nice! This hotel is great- 19th green guesthouse - recommend!! I get the feel of a high class hostel being here, another few years this will be a higher class category of hotel. I loved that room set-up and design, it all made perfect sense."
