Reviews of The Coach House Douglas
"I visited friends who were staying here. Beautiful accommodation but quite a few limitations. We could not eat outside. The table displayed was only for the use of the host. Near the hosts house so required to keep noise down even when sitting outside because of proximity to hosts children's bedrooms. Very disappointing in a time when outside activity is so important"
"Hi Emily, thanks a lot! We had a great stay at your place with our two children (aged 3&4). Found your accommodation had a fantastic location, very comfortable and well suited to our young family. Thanks so much, we'll be back!"
"The Coach House, Douglas, met all our expectations and more. It was our first break away with our 2 children, aged nearly 4 and 2 years, and it was so positive an experience that we are encouraged to go away much more often! The Coach House itself is self catering but yet it offered much of the comforts of a hotel stay, such as towels, shower gels, bed linen, lots of kitchen equipment and even food/teas etc. The jug of milk awaiting us in the fridge when we arrived was a lovely touch; not to mention the books and toy box left out for the kids! It just had everything we required. Emily was so welcoming. She was very understanding and empathic to our "young family" scenario and offered the use of her trampoline, swings, scooters and even offered to babysit for us!!!! The location of the coach house was perfect for us: walking distance of Doughlas with its indoor and outdoor playground facilities and we were just a 20min drive from Fota wildlife. I certainly hope to return again one day. Thank you so much for everything Emily."
"We had a comfortable stay. Emily met us in person and explained the facilities/amenities to us. The house was clean, stylish (love the paintings) and located on a quiet street which is only 15mins to the city by car. Emily was a great host and would recommend this to people who wish to visit Cork."
"Loved our stay at The Coach House. Very handy location for checking out the sites of Cork. Super comfortable and clean accommodation. Thank you for a great base for our few days in Southern Ireland."
