"We were so fortunate to book here for a dinner cum family reunion. The food was beautiful, the service excellent and the setting beautiful. We were lucky because our previous booking with Brooklane hotel was cancelled at short notice because they got a bigger party. So Landsdowne is now on our list to return rather than our previous choice for dinner in Kenmare."
"I was so disappointed at the response I got to a complaint. The water on table tasted so bad asked for bottled water . The gave us filtered water and charged five euro a bottle. Do people not deserve all water to be filtered in a four star hotel. Manager sent very condescending email when I complained. Was a birthday lunch from my children so was so disappointed. I find the response from the owner so bad . I can’t believe you have not addressed how bad the tap water tasted . It smelt so bad as well. I own a water filter so can’t understand why you charge for this . Of course I would pay for sparkling water. I’m not that stupid to think I would get for free. My point is the bottle was just filled with filtered water. People have no choice to buy water because the tap is so bad . Five euro is crazy. I won’t be going back because of the lack of understanding and ye keep saying it was still water . It’s not. A lesson learned and to be passed on to people"
