"I wanted to taken my time to do this review because I thought that maybe over time I could find a fault, no chance. Everything about the hotel is perfect. Not one for hyperbole but when it says 5 stars it means 5 star service, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you know you are somewhere special, the staff are superb. "Stayed at the Sheen Falls for 3 nights in early March on our country wide visit to Ireland. Our room was located on the riverbank (153). Beautiful views. Room was very nice, bed most comfortable. Felt like royalty. Restaurant food was excellent. Enjoyed the finest steak I have ever had. Breakfasts were most delicious. Grounds we beautiful. Staff was warm and welcoming. Enjoyed my conversations with Patrick each morning during our stay. Nothing negative to say about the property. 5 stars. Would love to return to Ireland at some point. Would most definitely stay there."
"Attended a wedding here and stayed 1 night. For us, Sheen Falls deserves its 5 star rating. The location was beautiful. The rooms were large and very well equipped. The staff were polite, friendly, and very attentive. It is expensive here but you do get a great deal for your money."
"We stayed here for a mini break after our wedding in September. We had the most wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived to when we left the staff could not have done more for us. Greeted at the door and having the car parked for us and our baggage brought to our room. A lovely welcome waiting for us in our room from staff and management congratulating us on our marriage. We ate in the falls restaurant on one of the evenings and oh my god the food. Was possibly one of the best meals we both have ever had, not to mention the service being second to none. The breakfast also did not disappoint! Set next to the gorgeous falls the location of this hotel is perfect for any kind of break. It is a short (complimentary when available) car ride into Kenmare town centre. We went mid week so we had no problem getting dropped in and picked up when we wanted. The staff at every turn were so friendly and accommodating. We cannot wait to come back and sheen falls will always be special to us!"
