"1st time here it used to be White Deer and Peppers Restaurant on Bridge street Mallow. Food was ok. Lacked Atmosphere a bit cooler than warm place to sit! It is a new Italian Restaurant they have lots of Pasta dishes and Wine bit pricey too. Over 5 euro for a small Beer! Meal was good Atmosphere was a bit lacking. Staff were good friendly! Come see for yourself!"

"My daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday in a restaurant with her friends for her 10th birthday. We rang and booked a table mid week for a Saturday lunchtime. They were so nice on the phone and extremely accommodating. We met at the playground in the Castle walked across to Il Castello. Nine children and 2 adults. Allowed us to bring our own cake. We were all fed and watered to bursting. The food was delicious, every single thing. The staff were so accommodating nothing was an issue. The price was unbelievable value (I can’t stress that enough). Definitely better than going to a fast food restaurant. We headed back to the Castle playground where they burnt off the copious amounts of garlic bread, pasta and pizza. Could not fault the restaurant, they made a special girl feel very special on her birthday."
"Love this place. Great food. Great staff and a good choice of meals. The lunch menu has a few different options such as burgers both chicken and beef compared to the more traditional orientated evening meals,have enjoyed them both."
"First time trying out Il Castello and the food was lovely. It was very quiet so not the best atmosphere but couldn't fault the food - I couldn't finish my main as I'd enjoyed the soup so much I finished it all but took home the leftovers cos it's too good to leave behind. The server we had was very nice too, I'd definitely go back again."
