"Terrible place .I watched my mother be bullied and humiliated In this place and the staff took great pleasure doing this . Seeing other mother's crying and hearing children crying in neighbouring rooms . We see a mother after giving birth ,turn up at this centre that was bleeding through her trousers and a white as a sheet she looked and the staff dismissed her needs and pointed in the direction of a room she would see her baby in ,this young mother was treated like an animal . Jodie satturley and Charlene Bowden treated us all with coldness and were totally unprofessional and cruel . These woman made contact sessions as unpleasant as possible and their cruelness is something that will live with us forever. The experience of this centre haunts me and my mother was on verge of a mentally breakdown everytime she entered this building , knowing she was going to be humiliated once again . They play god with families. They advertise that contact is supposed be meaningful and pleasant but in reality it's very much different and totally inhumane. They walk the children in like prisoners and out like prisoners. I witnessed my little sister being told off for whispering in my mother's ear and a letter she wrote my mum during the contact session saying " I miss you mummy " and a lady called Debbie told my sister she could not give the note and took it off my sister ,which made my sister cry hysterically and run to the bathroom area crying and shouting to go away to Debbie and asking to speak with her mummy in private . Discusting treatment! This place needs shutting down and an enquiry into what's happening behind these doors . This place is not for contact with children ,it's a place where supervisors are stitching you up for court and spying for social services and getting pleasure from humiliation parents and children are receiving here . Anyone that has been subjected to cruel treatment from staff at this centre should be speaking out publicly about their experiences and do not let any gagging orders stop you . They don't want to be exposed and thats why you are gagged it's not to protect the children it's to protect them and their barbaric practices. Social media is the only platform you will get heard ."
"Not a very nice place to go to have contact with your child just a sofa few toys and staff that writes everything u say doesn't and turn it 8n to something else"
"Friendly staff, there for you in the community."
"Staff friendly but are not morally ethical in their writing of you as a person, even outside of contact, if you engage in contact with them in a friendly capacity, anything you say will be turned into something sinister and used against you. The place is so uninviting, it is absolutely filthy, shabby furnishings, play dough stuck to chairs, cups in cupboards dirty, covered with pen marks. Children are marched in and out of the room the same as prisoners are, why you are left sitting their. Toys are all baby orientated. I would say no child should be treated in this way. The centres Managers need to take a good look at how they run the place and ask themselves, would I want this for my own child? Older children will be left scarred for life, they will never forget this environment they were subjected to endure as a child."
"Horrible place you are made to feel like bad people"
