"Since we did not receive any response to our phone calls and emails after an initial conversation with a solicitor stated as an 'expert' (apparently) in family law, we had to go elsewhere, thereby slowing down proceedings. I believe that if a firm simply does not want take on a case then the courteous thing to do is to say so, in my opinion, rather than letting us wait and wait until finally giving up. Not to be recommended. Thank you for your reply Ian - we did not make use of the free helpline - this service was paid for and we were supposed to have support from Claire Duffy. I will not give case details out on a public forum, nor am I interested in an apology at this late stage - the damage has already been done. I wanted to leave an honest and fair review of poor service so that others can make an informed decision whether to use you."
