"Stokes solicitors were instructed to assist with resolving a dispute with a shortfall in build quality project that could not be signed off by building control, therefore with the credit consumer act on our side it was a pretty simple case. Stokes conducted some research and sent out some some letters at great cost with absolutely no benefit what so ever and we are now left in a worse situation than before. Upon raising a complaint to the solicitor concerned, he aimed to praise and justify his fee/works which didn't bare scrutiny and then bickered with me on the telephone causing me to cut the call short. Perhaps this wasn't a suitable case for the firm, however as the customer of a paid service, ultimately in my opinion, the solicitor concerned was completely inept. Very disappointed and expected better, both in results and communication following my complaint."
