"Good place for an evening out to listen to a band. The Place is clean and tidy in most areas - still a few places to finish. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Bar area is a good size and has a fair selection of drinks, but a bit on the pricey side."
"This theatre is a little bit more renovated each time I visit. Performances seem more personal in a theatre of this size. Always a great experience. Don't forget to ask buy a car park pass for the NCP in the nearby Alex Rose Lane car park at the box office."
"This was the first time I'd been to this venue and wasn't disappointed at all. The theatre, though not massive, has impressive interior and very friendly staff. My wife, two girls (10 and 11) and I saw the Sleeping Beauty panto - with out a shadow of doubt, the best I'd ever seen. We will definitely be going back, this year, to catch a few more shows!"
"We went to see the sleeping beauty panto between Christmas and New year and we all loved it. Lovely theatre and the tickets were very reasonably priced. The kids were in hysterics!! We were on the front row of the dress circle at the end with the obscured view ( noted on the website when booking tickets) which was just a hand rail (see picture) which wasn't much of an issue for me. Will definitely keep an eye on future shows there and hopefully return soon"
"Fabulous old theatre with amazing architectural features. It was like stepping back in the past. Lovely warm ambience and very friendly staff. Please support this theatre..."
