New Place Hotel

"Thank you for our two night stay. we found the hotel very easy and it is an amazing place. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was a very good selection in both hot and cold food and the evening meal was excelent. We enjoyed the wooded walk and then the swimming pool and to relax in the jaccusi. The staff really made a great fuss over our dog Lucky and she was delighted with her welcome pack."

"Really great place to stay, the room was spotless clean apart from fan in the bathroom which is in desperate need of a clean. The whole place is really well preserved and looked after. Breakfast and dinner were great as well as the bar. The home made nachos were excellent and even the tortilla chips were homemade so thumbs up. Staff also great and quickest check in/ check out. Swimming pool nice as well. Looks like a great venue for a wedding too."

"Nice place, food was not outstanding but satisfactory. We had probably one of the cheaper rooms and the walls were thin, I was kept awake by neighbours moving around etc. Spend a bit more on a room and it might be better. Really good facilities."

"The rooms were nice. Buffet Breakfast was good but we had to ask where to get coffee,tea and toast as nobody bothered to tell us. Dinner was ok. Our room was not made up during our stay and the swimming pool was packed so we decided to give it a miss. The location is amazing and the main building spectacular. The ground were also beautiful."

"The best I can say is everything was OK, it was nice. Nothing was particularly bad but there was nothing great either. The rooms had not long been updated so they are good, but extremely hot. The gym and pool are OK for a hotel but can get extremely busy. The service was nice but often haphazard, the food and drinks are very overpriced for what you got. Especially as there is a couple of very notable restaurants/pub very close that are excellent."
