"My car failed the mot on poor emissions and the tester/owner? advised me the car needed a new engine because mine was worn or to have extensive engine work done which would cost more than the value of the car. I had a diagnostic test at another garage and the fault was an oxygen sensor, the part costing £80. The car then passed the mot with good emissions. Enough said."
