"A great traditional pub, serving well-kept, hand-pulled ales and a winner of several CAMRA awards as a result. Decent pool table and juke box in a separate room, with individual lounge and bar areas. There's a large beer garden that hosts live events in the warmer months as well as live music in the pool room most Tuesdays. I've always found the staff to be friendly and professional and there's a nice mix of people of all ages and character. Would recommend St Johns to anyone wanting a decent pint in relaxed surroundings."
