"I've been coming to Primo's for some time now and always look forward to my visit for a cracking hair cut and top quality craic with Davie. A barber who listens and delivers the style you ask for are worth their weight in gold. All of this and reasonably priced to boot. Could not recommend highly enough."
"Great traditional barbers in the heart of the Barras. Davie and Holly are always fun and friendly but more importantly are top of their profession. Never had a bad haircut in three years going to Primo and Sons. It's just moved to across the road from the Barrowlands ballroom. They do walk-ins so give it a go. You'll not be disappointed."
"I've been to Primo several times now, and each time I've had an excellent haircut. The barbers take their time with the cut, wash your hair as necessary and do an excellent job finishing it off (great blending, neat edges, straight razer to remove hair from the back of the neck). The biggest issue is it can take quite a while to actually get your hair cut, probably because of the time they take. I've been 2 or 3rd in the queue at opening time and am often there for an hour and a half, I imagine it must get much worse later on in the day. The summary is it is a great haircut, really friendly staff, and reasonably priced, but be careful to take enough time out of schedule to spend there."
"I have been getting my haircut from a well established Glasgow Barbers/Hairdressers for many years and haven't been anywhere else for a long time. I however needed a small beard tidy up and couldn't go to my regular, I thought why not see what else Glasgow has to offer and just go for a walk in. I looked around and searched reviews and Primo Barbers looked right up my street. I found it easily enough and 10/10 for looks it looks like a cool place in terms of their decoration. I wasn't met by a receptionist/anyone when I walked in and so just decided to take a seat where there were 3 others waiting. I knew it was walk ins and had seen others comment on it taking a while at times but I thought how long could it take? I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes and still wasn't served after which I had enough and left. It really was a shambles. No management whatsoever. No care that there are customers waiting whilst each barber went out for a 10 minute cigarette break after every customer was finished. A cigarette break whilst people have been waiting for hours? Many traditional barbers are walk in only with no appointments however this relies heavily on the barbers being able to provide their hair cuts quickly. The barbers who work in this shop weren't able to do that. I witnessed a simple hair cut which should have taken no longer than 25 minutes, take over an hour. There really was no management whatsoever and no urgency that customers have been waiting for so long. There just seemed go be an air of self worth that to them justified people waiting so long to get their hair cut by these barbers. From the cuts I witnessed that sense is seriously misplaced. I have never left such a review about any business because no business is perfect and mistakes are always made, however my experience on the day warrants this review. I would not recommend this barbers to anyone. There are many other places in Glasgow where you will get a better hair cut and not have to wait hours."
"I came to Primo for beard maintenance and consultation and left really satisfied. It takes while to wait on the sofa until you get your hair/beard cut but I realized that's the only way they could actually dedicate enough attention to the customer without being rushed (and you don't want anybody with a blade to be in hurry, don't you?). My beard is still in its humble beginnings and my barber even gave me a significant discount because the beard itself didn't require a lot of work. I am definitely coming back because the place is really stylish, the staff is incredibly friendly, they have a really nice touch on everything they do and their customer services and up and above most barbers in the city. At the end of the day you get what you pay for."
