"First time for a quick drink after work, friendly landlady Cath will be visiting again"
"It's OK a locals Pub, just one Real Ale"
"Good old fashioned local pub great landlady and bar staff and good regularly customers"
"Friendly and welcoming pub, cosy and comfortable. Landlady Cath is running a decent pub here and worth seeking out at the bottom of Locksway Road. Only downside was no ale apart on offer at time of visiting apart from Irvings Frigate which is not the best in my opinion, Abbot was also an option but had ran out unfortunately. Had a great night here, pool table at front of house, plenty of seating. Worth a visit."
"Great little pub. It's a shame it no longer sells cask cider but the beers (from local brewer's Irving's) are great. First went in here in the late 1990s and it has hardly changed. There's a spacious, plain garden at the side for the warmer weather and a real fire for winter nights. The Landlord and Landlady are very friendly - a very welcoming pub."
