"Went in there for tasting the chicken shawarma and ended up having more than that. I heard there were customers driving from Southampton to taste a special lamb dish with rice and soup(a few to choose from on ur order) . The lamb was delicious and juicy and well cooked! The owner has quite a resemblance to a famous Hollywood actor , so I ended up taking a selfie with him(although it might not seem so on the photo) . It’s a small place but, I won’t forget the lamb dish, try it when u are in Portsmouth, although the dish is always on selected days of the week. I was there on a Saturday."

"One of the best Shawarma's I've ever tried. Well cooked, tasty and a good portion size, with efficient and friendly staff. And the best part it was cheap too. I tried their chicken Shawarma wrap and drink (6GBP), and a mix platter with rice meal (20GBP), and they were both amazing. A must try for any Shawarma fan."
"We absolutely love Sultan, it is our go to place in Portsmouth for fresh halal food. We go to Portsmouth almost once a week and we always get lunch from here. We've recommended them to family and they also love them. The restaurant is small but we've eaten there on many occasions with ease. The staff are absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend a visit."
