"The best Indian I’ve ever had. Every single time I visit the food is outstanding. Sometimes I find Curry’s to be very greasy, not the ones in Desi - amazing flavour. Fantastic quality meat that is so juicy and tender. The restaurant itself has a gorgeous interior and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I’d highly recommend the Railway Lamb, the lamb is so tender."

"Really enjoyable experience. The food is well above average for a small Indian restaurant in the area and the service was friendly and fast. The presentation is great and although the menu descriptions are a little vague, everything we ate was fantastic, just pick something random and you'll love it! On street parking is limited so walk if possible."

"I have come with my Indian friend to experience Indian cuisine in Southsea. Unfortunately, my lamb biryani was dry - rice was dry, and lamb was nice and soft but no stew sauce at all. Deep fried onion - inside still raw and very greasy. In most of dishes pomegranate added - a bit too much in the end. Chips with their spices - very tasty. Decent Indian tea. Lovely waiting staff - smiley, friendly, very careful with my friends allergy. Not sure if will be back as disappointed with biryani."
