"Good store, friendly staff, good range of stock! Fruit and veg, meat and wines are excellent! Newspaper are available as are baby goods and cigarettes wines and spirits!"
"I went into this coop at 11:30 on 08/05/2020. Terrible service. I went in there to return an amazon parcel to wish I was pointed to the Hermes machine which I had trouble working. Not once did they offer to help. After finally printing off the label after 10 minutes I was then told to go round to the back of the queue even though I was by the counter. Then after that I handed her the parcel which one of the ladies said “you need to do all that” as in to sellotape. I’ve been to Morrison's, next in festival place and the corner shop in north Waltham and I have not had to do this. Then I asked her “do you have any tape as I’ve travelled 20 minutes to get here”, she looked around and said “no you’ll have to buy some”. Which I had to as I just wanted to get out of there. No initiative from the staff, no manners, they seem to love to gossip with the locals but if you’re from outside of the area they are very curt and rude. Terrible service and will rather go to Morrison’s, Lidl or another shop. Train your staff better."
"Obviously "a mirage in a desert" when you cannot go to nearby Morrison's, Aldi, Lidl, Asda and town centre and desperate to get an essential to cook, nappies for babies or want have water/cola/sandwiches or want to do party all of sudden and like to buy some beer, it is the place. What about the cost? Without a doubt as expected, all the products include a cost of convenience hence have a premium price. You will feel uneasy when you compare the price of an item from other stores. It is large enough to store almost all items. The bakery is small but caters fresh items. The staffs are friendly and cooperative."
"The prices in this coop are very high, how can or be that aluminium foil in this store is over £3 when in Reading branch it is £2. This store has also decided to not stock individual cans of cat food which is strange. The shop is a rip off."
"Some staff are friendly and helpful (like Jon and Val) Some are downright unprofessional. Most days they are bitching about their workload or having inappropriate conversations with each other right in front of the customer (usually ignoring the customer all together). The clientele there are chavvy and the shop is usually dusty. But it’s my local so I have to go there."
