"Peak vets has gone down hill since being took over by medivet, took my dog on 15th March 23 ,not impressed with the service. And they still didn't do a full health check on my dog which has been paid for by a pet plan and my plan states two health checks a year and only had one!"
"Had a 10 o’clock appointment and were asked to wait . We ended up waiting for a hour as the vet was still with the previous patient . I thought this wasn’t acceptable as we were both late for work and the receptionist didn’t do much about it . When it came to having the appointment the vet kept walking out and making us wait in the vet room for 10-15 mins . Pouring sterile liquid onto the vet table and then applying it to our pet - I hope they cleaned the table before doing that. Overall the vet had given us some sterile liquid to use at home and it sorted the problem we had . Wanted to pay the bill afterwards but received no attention from the staff. So we left .Today I have finally paid the vet bill . I give them a 3/5, problem got sorted but no attention to detail regarding service . We will find a different vet next time"
"Absolute liars and rip off merchants! They charge double the cost of medicine that you can get online. They have recently been taken over.*warning* Do not use, choose an independent."
"we have been using pesk vets for 8 yrs and becose our little buck rabbit nearly died on a visit a couple of yrs ago and told it was because of the stress the vet told us...so we then got home visits for our 2 bunnies for there boosters and claws clipped, but now weve been informed they are not doing home visits now as its unviable..meaning I think not profitable enough. im distraught about this snd sad to learn it...and I was informed that they are short staffed and various vets and people have left this practice ..so then I did some research about there previous owners call medivet who are a company not a vetniary practice and ive since found out they have sold on to a equity company called cvc capital partners although still use the name medivets...so my fear here is that they are bot doing home visits as in there words unviable? ...how can veterinary practices be run by an equity company who only has, profits in mind and not the welfare of our pets..thats my question ..though I must stress in no way would I want to criticise the vets there and that practice for the good work they do..I have since regrettably had to register with another local vet who will do home visits to give mu dear bunnies there boosters and clip there claws.I thank peak vets for the invaluable home visits that they did do and a special thank you to Rachael the vet who used to come to us and came out to treat dylan our buck rabbit an emergency and saved his life thank you so much ..but has since left this practice"
"Gave our dog the wrong medicine. When she was ill for 3 days afterwards apparently it was a complete coincidence and nothing to do with the incorrectly administered medicine, despite starting immediately after our mistake. we were even charged for treatment. Changing vets asap."
