Reviews
"Watership Down/Kingsclere Downs (depends on what you call it). Beautiful area to go for a walk. The views on a clear day are amazing! You can walk for miles up here and the views are always incredible!"
"So peaceful and fantastic views"
"Nice to visit if you’re a fan of the book but much of the hill is private land with just a footpath over the top. Means if you were planning to sit on the hill and have a picnic admiring the views then think again, it’s mostly fenced off either side of the path."
"Gorgeous walk route and absolutely stunning views, well kept grass lands and picturesque areas to stop and take in the view. However there’s an ongoing crime uprise in the on-site parking areas, do not leave any valuables in your car!"
"Part of the Wayfarers Walk. Views restricted by private land. Note that the visit inspired by Richard Adams book of the same name. Disappointed on that regard. A Beech tree has been planted as a memorial: regrettably not a Hazel."
