"A great park for a family day out with beautiful flower arrangement, ponds with boats, caffee and shallow pond for toddler to play. You can also play remote control boat on the west pond."
"Decent place for walk, jog and rest with beautiful trees and flowers in spring season. Boating and pool for kids to play in summer. Events that are organised like Basingstoke cultural festival. Nice time pass for elderly people with remote controlled miniature boats over Sundays in pool by Basingstoke Model Boat Club (BMBC). Duck pond to feed, park for kids to play."
"Beautiful park for walking, cycling and even boating. Great children's play area, a pond with plenty of birds and many more details to enjoy!!! Wading pool, boating, ice cream shop and toilets are open on weekends."
"Such a lovely park. The gardeners do a fab job of keeping the formal beds up to date and the paddling pool, boating lake and carp pond, keep it interesting for all age groups. For such a narrow strip of land near a busy town, its feels very much like an oasis of calm."
"Amazing park next to city centre with two good sized ponds and a smaller shallow paddle pond for kids. Nice for walk around the ponds and you can also walk towards Festival place which is just 10 min away for quick bite and shopping. Information regarding boat time/availability wasn’t correctly updated on the site. It also has two good sized parking areas but may get busy on a sunny weekend so plan accordingly."
