"My wife recently inherited two diamond rings from her grandmother. We were unsure how to best proceed with them, after having been to a handful of jewellers and being non-the-wiser we came to Stone's Fine Jewellery. We came in and the man was so helpful, we explained our position and he advised we keep the nicer ring as it's worth is much more than anywhere would offer. He also offered us an amount for the smaller ring, but said we could probably get a better deal online for this particular ring. Was so refreshing getting this and knowing he was looking out for our best interest. Would highly recommend as a trustworthy Jewellers."

"Not good! Asked them to resize my cherished ring of over 30 years. The add in bit was clearly of a different colour metal. After a short time it broke. Took it back and was told it was my fault as I’d damaged it (which I hadn’t). Put it back to them for repairs which they eventually agreed to do free of cost but a few months later it started to fall apart again. Fearing the end was in sight put it in to someone else who immediately identified the ineptitude of the initial job and repaired the damage done. Five months later the ring is fine. Coupled with this is the graceless guy on the front counter. Will absolutely avoid in future!!!"

"I had a silver St Christopher that belonged to my brother who sadly died recently. I wanted to give it to his son, but the main link needed soldering. I had been quoted £25 pounds somewhere else which I would have paid but it would have to be sent away and I was too anxious about possible loss. I was advised that Stones did repairs on site so I went straight there, A lovely gentleman had a look and said he could do it there and then. When I went back 10 minutes later work was done perfectly and I went to pay and he said there was no charge! So not only delighted with the repair but moved by his kindness. Will add this to the story of this piece of jewellery to my nephew when I give it to him. Thank you so much."
