"Never come across such a helpless company before. Customer service was absolutely terrible. Couldn’t get any help over the phone. They kept sending me to the app which wasn’t even working! If your car dealer offers their service to you turn it down. You are better off finding the companies that offer the service you are looking for yourself! All these extra monthly payments you make for there to be no help or human to reach when you are actually in need of the services you pay a fortune for. How can I be explains my issue over the phone and the lady cuts the phone on me twice. I call back and they decide they can’t even be bothered to help me!"

"I took out 2 year extended warranty with these guys. Sold my car in the first year, as part of their policy they refuse to refund any policy that is cancelled. Even though i hadn't even gone into the second year. I could understand a cancellation fee etc. But to basically just take my money for a service they never actually provided (the second year of warranty) is disgusting, shady, and completely deplorable."

"A terrible service from start to finish. The company they subbed the work out too Firstly did not turn up. Then secondly, They were late and when they finally arrived one month later, they then refused to do the job because there was a chance of rain. The technician that turned up recommended that I take it in to the workshop as you would get a better service and said it is all included in the insurance you have paid for. I then phoned AutoProtect to notify them of this. They said that is fine and they will arrange. They then emailed me the next morning saying case closed nothing they will do Do not use this company"

Pro tip: Opt for dealer provided multi-year product, they may get a commission however, you may get a better price from them."

"Purchased a car from a deal and purchased AutoProtect warranty alongside for 6 months. After the 6-month period ended, I decided to extend my warranty for a further year for peace of mind. Further on a few months, and I had to claim for a gear box leak. Auto Protect denied the claim although my warranty pack clearly states that it was covered. Couldn't come to a resolution with AutoProtect and now I have opened a case with the Motor Ombudsman. Stay away from these! Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Their warranty is set up in such a fraudulent way. They will find loopholes through absolutely anything and deny any of your claims. Save yourself some money! Big con artists."
