"One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Incompetent and uninterested staff members. Travelled 18 miles to the High Wycombe store for a click and collect order after receiving an email confirming that my order was ready for collection. Gave my order number to the sales assistant at the till who couldn't find the order number on the store system. Tried to show her the confirmation email but she dismissed it and instead asked me to write my name and order number on a piece of paper so her colleague could go and look for the order. After 10 minutes he returned empty handed. I asked them for their help and support and if they could contact JD customer services to confirm the status of the order, particularly as I had travelled 18 miles and had an email from 2 days previous confirming the order was ready for collection from the High Wycombe store. They couldn't have been more unhelpful and uninterested. Their response was "Sorry, there's nothing more we can do. You will have to contact JD customer services yourself". I could have understood had the store been busy, but it was the evening of the Wales v England game and there were more staff members in the store than customers. I stepped out of the store and contacted JD customer services on my mobile phone, who confirmed the order was ready for collection from the High Wycombe store. I then walked back into the store, with JD customer services still on the phone and got them to confirm to a different sales assistant that my order was ready for collection at the store. This third sales assistant said he would have to see the store manager and disappeared. However, 5 minutes later he re-appeared with my order. The sales assistants then proceeded to have a discussion between themselves about where the order was, at which point I left the store in total disbelief at what I had experienced. If there was ever an example of how to upset and lose your customers, this was it. Painful, Painful, Painful!"
