"The price reflects the quality of your stay. If you're happy for cheap and cheerful, don't mind a few spiders, a half hearted cleaning effort then it's the perfect place to pop your head for the night. Bed was comfortable. Room had a small fridge which was handy, shower was nice and warm. There was a strange whirring all night but otherwise the owners were pleasant and accommodating. Great for a pit stop enroute to somewhere else."

"You get what you pay for. After a long day on the motorbike returning from a tour in the north, we added a day and stayed at Common Farm overnight. The owner was welcoming and friendly and the place was comfortable - a bit dated but for the price that was to be expected. Breakfast was available as an extra and collected the night before - it was adequate but contained 2 pints of milk for two bowls of cereal and a few cups of tea. But it was reasonably priced and welcomed before we set off for another day. I’d stay there again."
