Travelodge Stafford M6

"OK, so we all know Travelodge's are not at the luxury end of the market. Nobody expects that and anyone who thinks otherwise is going to be rather disappointed. But, the Travelodge at Stafford M6 North is the best Travelodge at a motorway services that I've stayed at. From location, a good quarter of a mile off the motorway down quiet roads with tree noise shields to the helpful and friendly staff and the clean and tidy rooms all add up to an excellent overnight stay before continuing the journey north. A note about the location. It's very quiet. You really have to strain to hear the motorway. Surrounded by parkland and with excellent services, including an M&S food hall, its top notch for motorway stopovers and a world of difference to others that are a few metres from speeding traffic. If you need to break a journey north to Scotland from the South, this Travelodge is thoroughly recommended."
