Reviews of Sports Direct
"This should've been a ZERO star. Staff was rude, unfriendly and aggressive. Having worked in customer service since I was eighteen, I could never imagine how the shop manages or trains its staff... CS is horrible. Would never shop there again EVER. I don't care if they would sell £1 top branded products, I'd rather pay £100 for a shirt than to be treated rudely by staff."
"I came into the shop and no one seems to help out. All the staff were just chatting away by the entrance. I then ask for assistance after 10 mins being there looking for the pair of trainers that I want, the lady that came to see me just told me that all the sizes that are available are just outside and that is all they've got, she didn't seem to be very helpful and just left me there and she went back to chat away again with the rest of the staff. It doesn't seem that they're actually working. I end up leaving. poor customer service."
"Very rude staff. I went to buy a volleyball so i asked one of the staff where i can find one, the staff in the shop floor kindly showed me where it was so i went picked one and went to the till. Their was a lady staff with really short hair who i asked how much it cost she pointed at the basket where i picked the ball from and told me in a rude uninterested manner to go n look at the basket for price so i asked her as i was already in the counter could u please check it for me in the till n she gives a long breath n says its £5.50 so i asked her can i have a new fresh one n i would like to buy it but she said thats all they have so i bought that one and asked her if she could deinflate it for me but she just refused n said they dont provide the service so i asked y dont they do it n her reply was we just dont do it so at this point i got really annoyed so i said i would like a refund n she called her manager he said what was the problem n i said i want the ball to be deinflated. Then the magic happens the manager said ok goes inside and gets me a brand new packed ball still in the platic cover n all is sorted. I still dont understand y she was so rude to me from the start even when i never shouted and asked everything very politely but overall very bad experience if we had a option of another sport shop i would never set a foot in their"
"Deserves no stars, staff member was blunt and rude, felt like he couldn't be bothered to help us with shoes. I thought he had gone to get my shoes I asked for but after about 10 minutes of waiting patiently I found out he had gone on his lunch break. Thank you for telling me! The other staff member was busy with other customers and I was now back in a waiting queue. I could not be bothered to wait any longer so I went to jd and spent my money there. I don't think I'll return here"
"Brought trainers at £79.99 and within a week the coulor was coming out the trainers and the bottom part of the shoe was coming apart. Took them back for a refund and I was told they don't refund due to company policy. I was not even aloud to swap them for anything or receive a credit note because the shoes was worn outside and staff thought I had deliberately damaged the shoes to get a refund. Now I'm stuck with damaged shoes. What a waste of money. Everyone please avoid this shop! Spend your hard earned money somewhere else"
