"Really nice room, quiet except for the main road out front but wasn't too bad and that's what you expect if you want to be close to town. Short walk from most places you'd want to be in Southampton. Facilities were really nice - bathroom was lovely. Didn't have food so can't comment. Very clean, tidy, comfortable. Would be nice to add long life plant based milk for the tea/ coffee in rooms"

"From the moment my family and I arrived we were made to feel at home. We booked two family rooms for one night, both on the ground floor. Both rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped with all we could possibly need for our stay; comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, great bathrooms and toiletries. Each room was bright and airy, but both decorated in styles unique to each room, which gave it a boutique hotel feel without a boutique hotel pricetag. The restaurant had a good choice of evening meals and catered to all tastes, and the breakfast the following morning has to be one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. You can help yourself to cereals while you wait for your breakfast to be cooked especially for you, and that sets it apart from any other hotel I've stayed in before, because you get exactly what you want and it's freshly made - nothing like the buffet style breakfasts you find in chains. Overall this hotel scores 10/10 for it's friendly, welcoming and courteous staff, clean and comfortable rooms, delicious food and it's in a really good location. Would we stay at The Elizabeth House Hotel again? Most definitely, and we can't wait!"
