"Excellent fresh real ale, a real museum"
"A quiet locals pub, hidden away on a housing estate, which is worth seeking out. Great selection of Falstaff beers, plus guest ales on offer, in a very friendly and welcoming, but cash only, local. A real community pub with plenty of history and character. The ladies loo's (as my wife can testify) are award winning, and a pleasure to visit. The gents were clean and pleasant. There are many points of interest around the pub, from Mahogany fire places and carvings, to old pictures and posters, not to mention the historical memorabilia from the local area. Not forgetting the legendary ghost that supposedly haunts this fantastic pub. If you've never visited previously, give it a try If you've been here before, be sure to return, And if you're a regular, you need no encouragement."
