"Was looking for a quick bite before heading out on a Mtb ride. Stumbled upon the Retreat. What a lovely little cafe. Being Vegan wasn’t a problem. They catered for all dietary preferences. The place was clean and the touches of real plants and flowers was really nice as you usually get fake plastic ones. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. If I was to give one piece of advice I would say ‘Richmond vegan sausages’ are the way to go for a breakfast sausage (not a herby dinner one). Apart from that keep doing what you’re doing as it’s fab! Sarah"

"A lovely cafe with a great selection of food and drink. I opted for a soup (which I never normally go for) and it has converted me into a soup lover!! This was absolutely delicious and the bread was so fresh and tasty. I will definitely be coming back for another lunch in future."
