"We hired the downstairs area (Bar 77) for our wedding reception and it was absolutely perfect. The space is ideal especially with the terrace area and toilets that are completely separate from the main pub. We and all our guests had an amazing time and we had lots of positive feedback on the buffet. The staff were incredible from all those we spoke to for the initial planning and a massive thank you to Natalie, Harry and Louis who were just amazing! Will definitely be back soon!"

"Excellent venue for my daughter’s 21st. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The party went so well and everyone enjoyed themselves - thanks so much for helping us make the celebrations so good. Also, thanks to one of the staff who helped me take photo boards and other party bits to the car the next day. He was so kind and also complimented the revellers from the night before. Great place, staff and atmosphere and will recommend to anyone wanting to hire a party venue - thank you!"

"Clean, modern pub with quiet atmosphere on the Monday day night I attended. Friendly staff and comfortable seating, with decked area overlooking the river. Queens Road Car Park is the nearest parking place, just a 5 minute walk."

"I've been there in the past but there now a new owner. Portions of Sunday roast were quite small even though they are the most prices item in the menu. Staff was very nice though and we even got to taste done beers before making our choice. Nice place for family meal, always clean. Not busy on a Sunday at lunch time"
