"This person had my television on the 15th May 2021 to be repaired. Five weeks later I still have not heard from the company. So tomorrow I shall be going to collect it and take it elsewhere to be repaired. Had I read reviews on the place I would never have taken it there after what I read. Disgusting service. Keep away."

"This guy is totally USELESS, forget about the positive reviews for him folks, they were probably given by friends or relatives. I had a problem with my Sanyo TV, I contacted this pillock and he collected it on Saturday 27th October. He said it was a power supply problem, a minor problem that he said he could fix in 24 or 48 hours (depending on if he had the correct parts). 1 week later we heard NOTHING from the guy, me and my mum have been chasing up this IDIOT for the past week by phone (he is VERY HARD to contact by the way, he doesn't even have a mobile phone). Also I have to say that his communication skills are AWFUL, he hasn't ONCE phoned us to explain what's going on, or to give us an update, the guy is a JOKE!!! Oh yeah and also, ignore his 'Saturday hours', he doesn't even work on Saturdays, his place was in total darkness last Saturday, we asked next door at the opticians (Leightons), and they told me that he NEVER works on Saturdays!!! My mum FINALLY managed to get in touch with him on Monday 5th November, and he said he had received the parts but he was 'testing them' and 'charging them', 4 days later, still nothing!!! We contacted him tonight (Friday November 9th) he said he would bring my TV back on this day, but he hasn't done that!!! ANOTHER LIE from this AWFUL man. We are on the verge of contacting the police over this person and his 'Tin pot business'. This guy is clearly, a 'Jack of all trades/master of NONE'. If I don't get my TV back over the weekend, I will be at his shop door on Monday morning, with the police in tow."

"Took my Caravan motor mover remote to get fixed, 2 days later picked it up fully working, brilliant friendly service, no hassles what so ever (unlike another electronics company on the Calmore industrial estate who claim on their website no job too small but obviously was). definitely recommend Platt & Knight. :-)."
