"My first time at The Dovecote, Morley Hayes (my friend had been before) and we had a lovely evening. The décor is bright and charming, the staff are all friendly, efficient and welcoming. But the best thing – the FOOD! I had the steak and it was perfectly cooked and succulent with a sublime flavour, the same goes for the trimmings and sides. For afters, I had an rich, smooth panna cotta that was sooo, sooo tasty, served with freshly-baked Madeleines. Every element of the meal was considered and composed, the chef definitely knows and their art and practises it expertly. I would definitely recommend The Dovecote if you want a special evening."
