"Really beautiful spot if a little sloppy today after all the rain! Well worth visit and we will definitely be back."
"Great place for a walk. Well looked after, but difficult to get parking close by sometimes. Dog friendly"
"A pleasant surprise, not far from the city. Quiet, natural woodland with walks beside the river. Lower walk is 6km and brings you through a walled garden and by other ruined dwellings."
"Lovely peaceful day walk through quiet woods. Easy walk with a very mild incline. Not very well signed to make sure you see all the sites so can get confusing."
"The walk itself is beautiful but not very well signposted. Part of it would be suitable for buggy's/ wheelchairs but when you get further down into the forest it gets rockier. Seems to be mainly used by dog walkers and is suitable for off leash dogs that are well behaved as long as you don't bother anyone else. The trail I did took a little over and hour and followed the river. A few interesting old buildings which were cool and a nice river to walk beside. Looks like there is horses there a good bit from the amount of horse poop but didn't see any when I was there. Don't park on the road outside it even thought most people do, that's where I have always parked but recently received a parking fine as they are trying to stop people parking there. You can park in the hell fire club car park but be careful walking down the road as there is no path and cars go quite fast."
