"Don't order any sandwiches or wraps my second time to come here for lunch I ordered the club sandwich it was dry and no flavour today I ordered the sweet chilly chicken wrap is was slop with fatty grizzly chicken no salad a small bit of lettuce, I'd stick to the roast dinners or breakfast but skip this place for a lunchtime sandwich, they do a nice full irish and roast to be fair."

"Good home style food. Fry ups are what they are known for locally and are busy at lunchtime during the week. They are open late enough for food and have a lovely little bar at the front. Pints are good, prices are average. Plenty of space and all ground level for people with disabilities. Small point would be the menu has been the same for probably 20 years, but it's still good home style food and you know what your getting."

"Our weekly treat. The staff are exceptional, friendly, welcoming, we love eating in the bar but the whole restaurant is amazing. Staff never forget you in such a busy place. The wide range menu from breakfast to afternoon tea to scrumptious dinner, all excellent."

"If you want some good old fashioned breakfast with all the trimmings or a hearty lunch this is it. Chef is excellent and although a basic enough menu it works well as all food is prepared quickly and arrives piping hot. The waiting staff are very pleasant and work hard to ensure you get service quickly. It is a busy venue. I also enjoyed hearing local Kildare accents as I had my meal. There was no hurry put on me to finish my meal quickly although it was super busy. I liked that as I was tired and it was nice to sit and relax without being hurried out the door. Because of this I ordered dessert. Overall as service goes, I was highly impressed because they go to great efforts to be courteous and serve you with a friendly face which is lovely. It's not posh nosh but it certainly hits the spot. Value for money and nice big decent country style portions of food. They don't skimp and it is refreshing."
