"We’ve stayed here twice and both times had an excellent holiday. First visit we stayed in Gainsborough cottage, and this time Holly. Holly is one of the newer cottages and it’s finished beautifully - very spacious and really well laid out. So much to do for kids - our 3yo had the best time. Would definitely return."
"We had an absolutely wonderful week on holiday here, staying in one of the new cottages (Oak). The accommodation was gorgeous and the whole place had so many things for my 2 1/2 year old to do - we barely left the farm in a week. The staff were so lovely and helpful and all the facilities were great. We will be back very soon!"
"First farm holiday as a family, A warm welcome on arrival. Explained all the ins and outs of the farm. Accommodation was lovely with all the bits you would need and they had left out all the baby stuff we needed including a travel cot, monitor and changing Matt. The stairs had built in stair gates top and bottom. There was a wood burner with ample wood supplied, a Weber BBQ and Hot Tub that we put to good use. Small shop on site with useful bits and bags of animal feed that are free. In terms of animals, they were all friendly and great for the kids to feed, There were pigs chickens, ducks, ponies, sheep and a goat. Clean simple swimming pool that has classes most evenings so can't be used by guests then. Has a playground, some kids trikes and a trampoline that the kids loved. Also has a tennis court that we didn't use. Was able to walk into Nayland using the public right of way to the right of the big pond, which had lovely walks through town past the river. There isn't much there but a pub and a butchers. Went for lunch in stoke-by-nayland at the crown which was lovely. And the boathouse in Dedham which was also great. Overall a lovely stay thanks!"
"This place is a hidden treasure!! The cottage was prepared to an exceptional standard and is better equipped than any other holiday lodge/cottage we have stayed in. We had everything we needed and more for a family of 6 plus the dog!! The on site facilities are very good, in particular the kids loved feeding the pigs and ponies and checking the hen house for eggs. The location is great, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and the evenings are quiet and peaceful yet there is so much to do within even a 30min drive. From start to finish this was an amazing break for our family, the owners are clearly dedicated to providing high quality holiday cottages and truly care about people being happy with their stay. We had a short chat with one staff members prior to checking out, the whole team provide excellent customer service!! Thank-you, we will be back!!!"
"A quiet and peaceful retreat, but children friendly at the same time. Pool is great and often available to just yourselves. Everything you need for a self catering break is available. A selection of farm animals to entertain small children. Limited walks, but nice. A good base for exploring this area of Suffolk. We took a night camera along as well, lots of deer, stoots and badgers at the end of the garden. Will post a pic."
