"Avoid Allianz Global Assistance, no level of customer service"
"'Protection when you need it'' this is what Allianz claim. I had travel ins with them, my flight was cancelled and when I returned I contacted Allianz, it took numerous emails and about 6weeks for them to reply, I sent in all the documentation, to receive an automated email stating they would contact me in 5 to 7days which they didn't, I contacted them again, this happened another 2times with another automated email and another automated email, then I rang them and one of the agents said I would not be entitled to a claim, I left it at that until I received another email looking for my details of the cancelled flight, every few weeks I have been receiving these emails. That all started in Jan 2022 now in Oct. 2022. I rang them again and a helpful agent assured me my claim would be attended to as soon as I send in the details again, (as they cannot find ther previous ones) which I did and now I have not even received the automated email. Definitely not a good service, not recommended and no protection."

"Avoid!!! Always use to buy missed event insurance from them (on ticketmaster) and when we had to miss a show because of a very unfortuante event which we clearly provided to them. Did they understand .... no.... still go to gigs but would never pay insurance again... there's honestly no point"
"Extremely useless travel insurance. I have a annual multi trip insurance and once I had an international flight cancelled and I had to book another one on the next day I was advised that I am not covered for this cancellation or delay because this is not a flight starting from Dublin, for medical expenses I am already insured bu my private health insurance."
