"What a lovely day out. I only went down to see the caves and was greeted by dinosaurs everywhere Great! Plenty to see and investigate. The caves are amazing and historical information is given at certain points along your walk around. Outside the caves you can learn about the varied dinosaurs and how prehistoric man lived or simply relax at some of the spectacular viewing points. Well worth the visit."
"Amazing. I cannot find words to explain how special this place is. About £80 for five adults,. Worth every penny. The dinosaurs....do many and are moving, I have never seen such a big dinosaur display. Caves, just wow. Cathedral cave is out of this world, add the gentle classical music, lighting and thunderous water gushing from the roof...magical. my favourite place in the world to date. To finish with the petting zoo and crazy golf for free! An absolute must go."
"Cave's are spectacular, interspersed with the largest collection of life sized dinosaurs that I've ever seen. Included in the entry fee is access to the shire horse centre with llamas, alpacas, sheep, pigs, goats and rheas ( or emus, I'm not sure which). Many of these wander freely amongst the visitors and some are welcoming of a fuss. An outdoor and indoor play area for the kids rounds of the attractions. Great day out."
"A great day out which is really good value for money. The cave visits are without guidance or staff but it is easy to follow the cave route without getting lost. There are manikins in a few locations with a storyline narration, giving you a history of the cave discovery and facts about its formation. My kids did struggle a bit trying to follow the Welsh accent, as well as with the sound being a little challenging to hear for some but my wife and I had no problem. You only require hard hats for the top, 'Bone Cave' and I really recommend you wear one (it is compulsory anyway) as the roof is low in areas and I saw many people strike their hat. Outside there are a large number of dinosaur models of all shapes and sizes, many of them dynamic models, with signs giving information like when they existed and theories of their behaviour, etc. The cafe has a limited menu with packet sandwiches, baked potatoes, burgers and chips and with hot drinks dispensed from a couple of machines but it was OK for a quick bite at lunch times. The museum was excellent and had the kids entertained for a while. All the touch screens and interactive points were in excellent order, perfect working condition and really well developed for putting information across. The kids (and adults!) thought they were excellent and fun to watch. The shire horse museum is worth a quick visit before you go. Very good for young kids as there is a play centre (we didn't use it though) and park with little zip lines. A nice little museum with an automated narrative about the times at the height of shire horse usage. The cost of entry was reasonable considering the amount of content at the park and is well worth a visit."
