"Not wheelchair accessible and being my local suppermarket i can not use them as have to wait out side like a dog to get served. On confronting the guy who worked there he did say that planning application has been put in but on researching this out found nothing on the local authorities web pages for planning had been actioned. Given i feel DISCRIMINATED against using this shop and the mature population of the local area. How many others avoid using your shop because of poor access. I cant help think if your shop was accessible you may actually get more customers using it?"
"Recently changed hands after the previous really turned the shop around; extended the size of the shop floor, range of stock and they were very polite, welcoming and friendly. Not remotely impressed with my visit last week. Rude, unhelpful and too busy on her phone to do her job properly."
"Recently changed owners. Very friendly and hospitable. They are reasonably priced and well stocked for a small shop, which I often use."
"Excellent on going daily service. Always helpful friendly attention to your needs. I get a newspaper everyday and know that in bad weather the owners have had to collect the papers from the wholesalers because they were unable to deliver because of poor road conditions. Lots of building and road works have not helped access, but that’s now clear. It’s our village shop and should get our support."
"Kate Jones, you need to get a Solero and calm down, though I suggest you dont get it from Castle Stores. This is a nice place and I do appreciate it being on my doorstep. I guess it it a little more costly, but the convenience is well with the meagre price inflation. Thanks."
