"Gwyn and Dad came around at the start of this month to pick up this sofa to help fix it. It was badly broken and although I called a countless number of people to sort this out he really did stand out. He was absolutely honest from start to finish, he came in assessed the job and gave us a price and a timeframe and he honestly kept to his promise.he picked up the sofa, paid soo much attention to detail and fixed it looking all brand new and sturdy! You can tell they are a family run business with the right value system in place and I cannot recommend them enough. They are definitely one to keep going back to.. "We are absolutely over the moon with the work Gwyn did on a 1910 dining table. It was in a very poor condition, my husband and his brothers had used the table leaves to slide down the stairs as children. Gwyn has taken all the 'bends' and 'uneven' surfaces out and completely restored the whole table., mending the winding mechanism and other broken parts, finishing with a beautifully polished surface. Every time we walk by it just gives the most enormous pleasure to us. He is an exceptionally talented restorer and goes the extra mile to make something as good as it can be. My wife and I made quite an expensive purchase there recently and at no point did I feel pressured to buy, or feel that I was being conned in any way - quite the opposite in fact, we were given space and time to have a look and a think and a chat.
