"I have passed this park so many times but never had a walk around it, I must say it's a nice place especially on a sunny day, we just had a stroll round the lake, the kids park looks a fun place to take the grandkids, it has a small gravel beach, boat and SUP board hire etc and a cafe. Parking is not free but only cost us a pound because we were not intending to stay long this time but will on our next visit now we know what it's like."

"If I lived locally I would be pleased and use it regularly but was it worth driving for over 30 minutes to get there, not for me. I was surprised to see so many dogs being walked off the lead considering there were signs saying they had to be kept on a lead in the park. I was impressed with the cafe and enjoyed a lovely bacon baguette sat by the lake."

"Great little park with cafe, boats, kayaks, adventure playground, skate park and nice little beach. Plenty of places to explore around the lake and also have a picnic. Cafe serves a wide range of stuff and there is also BBQ stands by the beach too. Car parking is easy and plenty of spaces. 1 hour for £1."
