"Scenery changes with every season. It is a national trust property so non members have to pay to go. Good value. Plenty of pop up coffee huts, good restaurant. Well laid path around the park so allows for people with mobility difficulties or use of mobility cart/scooter/walking aids"
"Always been a fan of day-out at one of the National Trust premises. Sheffield Park provides great access to the autumn scenery and it's very family-friendly. The pond was especially astonishing with all the autumn colours around it. I reckon it'd also be fabulous in other seasons around the year. Bonus surprise of the day, we saw a deer running all the way towards the car park and gently leapt over the fence to the other side... just beautiful and glad to see how wild animals also enjoy this premise."
"What a beautiful park and gardens! We couldn't see everything so will definitely be back. Bring a picnic as there are many benches and tables available, and so many beautiful corners where to stop and enjoy the quietness. The car park is free and plenty of spaces, and there is a cafe and ice cream stall inside."
"Absolutely love this place. Parking is free and you can not only enjoy the paid area of the national park, but also there is a free area for hiking, biking, walking… Inside the park there are 3 ponds and loads of trails to walk / hike around You can enjoy some pastries and sandwiches in the park, or in the cafeteria outside (which I recommend as it has a lovely inner garden to enjoy your meal)"
"Fantastic NT venue. Gorgeous to walk around the gardens at any time of year in any weather. The kids love it. The forest trail is always a winner with my boys. Take spare clothes though. There is a cafe outside of the NT fence so you can enjoy a cuppa and cake even if you’re not an NT member. The cafe inside the fence is lovely too."
