"I have been a St.Luke's regular until I had to forcibly go to PRSC owing to staff shortage at St.Luke's. And oh boy I was up for a very pleasant surprise, same management but the difference is night and day. Warm showers, heated changing rooms, nice reception and the slides are like icing on the cake. My little one loved it, I loved it. No going back to St.Luke's anytime soon. And oh, the parking charges are amazing 1£ for 2 hours. All boxes checked."
"It's OK. Quite tired in places and the changing rooms are not particularly clean, but passable with flip flops. They do have a buggy park where you can store and lock your pram, which is good! They do also have family changing rooms which have baby change tables. Could do with a refurbishment."
"Swimming review- main pool. Getting there- really close to Jubilee library in the town centre/ parking is available - go down North rd & turn right near the bottom into the road between two 'Oakley'shops. At reception log your number plate & give them £1 which covers the fee( excellent considering you're in the town centre). The changing rooms are big, generally well kept with single changing areas & some family ones. There are lockers that need £1 coin( returnable). Showers are generally communal but there are some cubicles ( some currently don't work)( which us why i took off a star- also the changing area isn't very warm). The main pool is pretty good, mainly clean and there are 3 lanes plus a bit 'do whatever' area. The medium pace lane for an unknown reason is swim anticlockwise- which means unless you breathe to your right you often misjudge and hit the solid lane dividers as the lanes are quite slim. After my first swim I had bruises all over my arm so I avoid that lane.Once dressed there is a small area with several free hairdryers. Overall I am impressed with the facilities- there was plenty of opportunity to swim as the other pools facilitate most of the 'learner'& aqua type activities."
"Mould in the showers which hardly ever work, filthy floors - staff cleaning them actually look to be making them worse. Closed over the Christmas period due to problem with the pool - when most people want to excercise, only informed when going down there. They hire out the pool to for private classes half the time. They cut down on the chlorine content in the pool during covid and never went back to putting more in - why you will find it tastes like bodilly fluids. Very poor overall - worst complex I have been too."
"Went there for a 4 hour scuba class, parking signage was not clear about how to pay for extra hours (first 2 are free). I have the pay by phone app and regularly use it - turns out that there is a tiny pay by phone section on the poster, but wasn't clear to me at all. Parkingeye have fined me £100, refused my appeal and are threatening to take me to court. I'm never going back to the pool."
