Reviews of Ellis Quay Apartments
"I am new to reviewing on Google I wish I had discovered it when I was in Dublin couple years ago but we stayed here and I was actually pleasantly please to his located right next to the the river, diagonally from the Temple Bar and you could see a Guinness factory. There's even a little shop located beneath the apartment when you check in it's hard to find but you have to go to the main office across the street from the apartments that took a lot of asking around finally find what we were looking for. it's a short enough distance to the main city center where most of the locals shop and tour. It's easy to cross the river using the bridges and where these apartments are located you are near a lot shops, restaurants and pubs. My husband and I got a double room because the beds are so small in Europe we decided to have a full bed to ourselves we didn't mind we were so tired that we slept comfortably. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Noise with a little bit hard to fall asleep to I think in that area no one sleeps it's pretty active all night long so I would recommend like I used ear plugs. Highly recommend and affordable used a hotel app so we actually got to use a free night and only paid the taxes on the room."
"We stayed there for 3 days and we had everything we needed. Nice hot water, coffee, comfortable beds, nice TV, etc. Affordable price. I would recommend it."
"Nice enough apartments.....but WAY over-priced for what they are. Staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. There is no decent safe parking nearby. We had to pay a whopping €200 just for a one night stay, out of season, of which one of our couples had to sleep on the couch. There was constant weird noise coming from the huge boilerroom. And despite its size, we only had enough hot water for one person. Despite waiting 2 hours, we still hadn't enough hot water. We ended up having cold showers as we had to check-out by 12pm, midday. Dreadful. An embarrassing start to introduce my foreign friends to my city. And despite complaining to the staff member, he only offered a miserable 10% discount on our next booking. That's no compensation for not being able to have a decent nights sleep or a hot shower in the middle of winter......the reason you stay in accommodation in the first place."
"Clean, quiet, reasonably priced, helpful staff and central to my needs attending the Guinness Enterprise Centre and Heuston Station."
"Stayed here for 2 night's. It has all things you need for a short stay in Dublin including a lounge and a kitchen. The apartment was spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. It's in an ideal location situated at the outskirts of the main city centre area. Lots of restaurants and bars within a few streets and is within walking distance of all the tourist spots. Would recommend you stay here as it well priced too."
