Reviews of Tom, Dick & Harriet's
"Did a solo trip to Dublin for my 40th a few weeks ago and did 5 nights here. Lovely little place. It’s great for a solo traveler especially if hostels aren’t your thing and you don’t really need a big hotel. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Lovely staff! Decent price too. The area, Phibsborough, is quite nice too with a few local pubs within safe walking distance. Several food options and a Tesco and Lidl close by. On the bus line as well. Room was a bit hot but I’m also an American who loves her A/C so that’s on me! I got a nice little welcome bag with delicious muffins and some juice; perfect pick me up after a long flight! I felt safe as a woman traveling alone and staying here. Would recommend for solo travelers! Lovely!"
"Absolutely worth the stay. Monica is very friendly, comfy beds, perfect location and absolutely clean rooms. We will stay again when we are coming back to Dublin. Thank you!"
"It's located a bit of a distance from the centre of Dublin. The area seemed a little sketchy. The room was fine, a little grimy around the edges, and there wasn't a lot of surface space to put things. The bathroom was a little tight; we had to sit at an angle on the toilet. The beds were fine and the linen was clean, which was probably the most important thing. They missed cleaning our room one day. No other services; no front desk, no room service, no food a available. We stayed there because it was a little less expensive, but wouldn't do it again."
"As a student, here is one of the spot you can stay while your tourism or looking for your accommodation. The cafe is not working now. They also have some rooms for student who want to rent at least one year. Free water, free breakfast and free cleaning. If you stay one year, you can get free of all. Dishes, glass, all the kitchen equipments and monthly toilet cleaning."
"Nice place. Fairly convenient location at the upper end of O'Connell Street. About a 20 minute walk to Temple Bar. Rooms were clean and staff was lovely. The "cafe" in the name is a misnomer. The downstairs is set up as a cafe, but I saw no evidence it's in use as such- there's no breakfast, for example. The price is decent. My room was a little noisy, facing a it was onto Dorset street. The last night I was there was a Saturday and there was some loud music until early in the morning from a nearby pub, then a drunk came banging on the door next to mine at 330 AM."
