Reviews of Chimney Park
"This playground has potential however, the baby swings are broken for more than 1 year. There is glass around the chimney and little bags of drugs in the flower beds. Needs urgent maintenance"
"Nice hidden park with swings, a few places for the kids to climb, and hidden phone that the kids can speak to each other in. Also bring a bucket and some shovels. The sandbox is massive!!! Parking is right below in the basement and there are some good places for coffee and lunch of the weather allows outside eating."
"This awful playground gets one of its stars for existing in a playground desert area of the city. The equipment - swings and climbing frame- was unusable by a four year old due to their strange design. The paw prints on the sand mean you wouldn’t let your kids dig in it. A pity."
"Small but nice playground, seems to be very quiet in the weekend. There are climbing frames and swings, as well as sand pits, so kids from different age groups will have fun here. Now the unique aspect is the large chimney, which is rather imposing. Some bricks at the base of the chimney have been modified so that you can climb it (I can't recall seeing anything like this), but you'll need a good grip!"
"Funky little playground with sand on the ground. It is not fenced off so you have to keep an eye on little ones. It's a bit sad that some people don't seem to care that kids play here as there is often rubbish in the sand even though there are bins here. I wouldn't let kids play directly with the sand as I've witnessed people letting their dogs go to the toilet here."
